It was big to me when he met the girl, and started stealing with her every night. It was also big when her father, and mother made Misha  a part of the family. It told me that they were kind, and caring people. When his "mother" died, he actually felt bad.

I was thinking about when stopthief  asked, "what's a Jew?" it made me wonder about how he didn't know what it was at that time. How was he raised?
