This song represents a book called The Winter Of Red Snow, by Kristiana Gregory, because the song represents hope and, yes, faith. Summary
This book is great for children, because it helps them learn about the Revolutionary War in a fun way. The Winter of Red Snow is the diary of a girl in the 1800's, and what her life was like. George Washington knew her by name, while there was a huge virus going around. People were getting sick, and dying, but she still kept her temper, and helped out with the sick.
Great summary! I would read the book if my "book list" wasn't full. :)
ReplyDelete:) Such an interesting choice of music....Bon Jovi connecting to a girl from early American history. And it works. :)
ReplyDeleteI wonder what it would be like for a 1800's boy.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a very good book. I've always liked learning about the Revolutionary War. It would be cool to be known to George Washington by name. Where did the girl in the story live?
ReplyDeleteI read some in that series, one about a cherokee boy. They are good short reads.
